Grab a nice pair of sturdy walking shoes because we are ready to hike across the Valley of the Winds. When we reack the Ayres Rock at Uluru you'll see and feel how the sky turns from light blue into deep blue going through a red gamma colors! Dinner will be served at our campsite so then you layback for the rest of the night. On the next day sunset it's a must, so we will wake up early! Then it's time to get inmerse into the aboriginal culture as we go to the Cultural Center to learn some stories and have a look at real Indigenous arts and crafts.
Day 1 - Kata Tjuta & Uluru
We make our start exploring the intriguing landforms of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and hiking the Valley of the Winds. Uluru (Ayers Rock) is spectacular, and we get there in time to see the rich desert colours changing as the sun sets, with a glass of Australian sparkling wine to top it off! A hearty dinner and some stargazing at our permanent campsite is the perfect way to end the evening. (D).
Day 2 - Uluru
It’s an early start this morning, but it’s definitely worth getting up for sunrise at Uluru. Explore the mysterious rock formations and Aboriginal art sites around the base, or climb to the top if you choose (although the traditional Anangu owners prefer it if you don’t). Deepen your understanding of the land and its stories at the Cultural Centre, where you have the chance to look at and purchase Indigenous arts and crafts, before returning to Ayers Rock Resort at 12.00pm.
