Day 1 - Adelaide to Kangaroo Island
- Selected Adelaide hotel/ hostel pick-ups.
- Depart from 85 Franklin Street for the scenic coach trip down the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis.
- Sail across the Backstairs Passage with SeaLink - a 45 minute ferry trip from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw on “KI”.
- Check out the fabulous surf and fishing beach at glorious Pennington Bay.
- See Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, the only commercial distillery in South Australia.
- Walk amongst a wild breeding colony of rare Australian Sealions at Seal Bay.
- Play and explore on the huge white sand dunes at Little Sahara and test your skills at sand boarding.
- Visit beautiful Vivonne Bay, voted Australia’s best beach and home to the KI fishing fleet.
- Look for koalas at Hanson Bay Koala Sanctuary.
- Overnight farmstay accommodation (inc. lunch & dinner).
Day 2 - Kangaroo Island to Adelaide
- Look for wildlife at the Flinders Chase National Park & Visitor Information Centre.
- Check out Remarkable Rocks. Admirals Arch and the resident colony of fur seals at Cape du Couedic.
- Walk to Snake Lagoon or take the Platypus walk, in search of wildlife.
- Head to the beautiful and secluded “secret” beach of Stokes Bay.
- Take a walk to Ironstone Hill (time permitting) to find wallabies and admire the spectacular view back to the mainland.
- Arrive in Penneshaw for a chance to buy some dinner before the return journey to Adelaide (inc. breakfast & lunch).
