Sailing on Solway Lass
Australian Tall Ships

3 Day / 3 Night or 6 Day / 6 Night Tours
Solway Lass is the largest Tall Ship sailing the Whitsundays. Built in Holland in 1902, of German Blue Steel. Major restoration works keeps this famous Tall Ship presented in beautiful condition.
The history of Solway Lass is amazing, serving in both World Wars, carrying cargo in the Baltic and North Seas until the early 1970’s. During the 1980/90’s Solway Lass was Sydney’s Tall Ship, including sailing in the 1988 bicentenial 1st Fleet re-enactment.
Cruises of the Whitsunday Islands are casual and offer guests a Tall Ship sailing experience from a bygone era... imagine 11 sails billowing in the Whitsunday breeze, a bit like Captain Cook when he sailed through and named the Whitsundays in 1770.
