Tasmanian Expeditions 7 Day Cycle Walk
Tasmanian Expeditions

Fill your lungs with fresh air, blow away the cobwebs and join us for an adventure that charges your senses with experiences of natural beauty, rugged coastlines, abundant wildlife and charming villages.
We begin this trip in Launceston warming up our legs as we peddle into the rolling hills towards the historic town of Evandale, a glimpse into early colonial Tasmania with its Victorian streetscapes of restored buildings. Following the North Esk River we continue onwards with the imposing peak of Ben Lomond in sight, past rural villages and farms we are now well into the swing of the joys of cycling in Tassie. A magnificent downhill ride through the forested St. Mary’s Pass brings us to the coast. Bright blue waters, pure white sand and fresh salty air are the order of the day as we ride along the coastal roads of eastern Tasmania.
We arrive early at the Freycinet Peninsula, a favourite area for locals and visitors alike. We take a short break from the bike seats for a change of pace. Walking and exploring one of Tassie’s iconic National Parks including the award winning Wineglass Bay. Further south - no trip along the east coast is complete without a visit to Maria Island, no vehicles, intriguing history, peaceful bays and rugged mountains will have you savouring this delightful little isle.
Our journey almost complete, we arrive at the waterfront city of Hobart backed by the panoramic Mt. Wellington (1271m). We top off one magnificent week with the fun and excitement of an exhilarating downhill ride completing this fantastic holiday on the waterfront of Hobart.
