Your next two day adventure trip starts in Melbourne. From sightseeing the panoramic scenery over the Victoria Valley, to heading Logan’s Beach in Warrnambool for seasonal whale spotting, to visiting ‘Loch Ard Gorge’ and hearing amazing stories of survival on this shipwreck coast, it will be your most trully exting Victoria tour.
Day 1 - Melbourne to the Grampians NP
We follow the historic ‘gold rush’ trail at Ballarat and then continue on through grazing country to Halls Gap. After lunch we head to the largest cascading falls in Victoria at “McKenzie Falls” then hike to the top of the Pinnacle to enjoy sweeping views of the Grampians NP.
We then explore the Balconies and Reids Lookout; providing panoramic scenery over the Victoria Valley. After a days exploring, relax and enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation in the heart of the Grampians. (D).
Day 2 - Grampians NP to Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road
This morning we head for the coast stopping at Logan’s Beach in Warrnambool for seasonal whale spotting and a view of the mighty Southern Ocean. We travel along the Great Ocean Road taking in scenic sights such as ‘London Bridge’ and the ‘Bay of Martyrs’. Lunch is at Port Campbell. We visit ‘Loch Ard Gorge’ and hear amazing stories of survival on this shipwreck coast.
A lookout provides uninterrupted views of the world renowned ‘12 Apostles’. You can view these amazing formations from above - there’s time for an optional helicopter flight at own expense. We return to Melbourne, arriving in the early evening. (B).
