Southern Cross Sailing Adventures has been providing 2 and 6 day sailing tours around The Whitsunday Island since 1985. Along with exceptional sailing on ex-racing Maxi Racing Yachts tours include time to snorkel on Coral Reefs teeming with marine life, guided island bush walks,to lookouts which offer amazing photo opportunities, and visits to the world famous Whitehaven Beach.
All tours are Eco Certified and along the way the crew will provide an interpretive insight into the history and makeup of this World Heritage Listed Area.

Siska - 2 day/1 night or 3 day/2 night
Siska might spend her days strolling the Great Barrier Reef now, but in her former glory she has impressive race record including circumnavigating the world twice. At 80 feet this ex-ocean racer has plenty of room to spread out and ejoy the wind in your face. Siska features a large guest lounge and dining area perfect for sharing salty tales with your fellow travellers.
Boomerang 2 day/2 night
Spend 2 days and 2 nights on the 83ft Ocean Racing Maxi 'Boomerang" with it's famous racing pegigree in winning World Maxi Series Races. Boomerang has deck space galore to relax in the sun, large cockpits and a large shade awning.
British Defender 2 day/2 night
British Defender is a high tech Ocean Racing Maxi that gives you the opportunity to experience high action sailing. At 83ft she is a big boat with lots of space and an equal amount of racing gear.
Ragamuffin II - 3 day/2 night
Ragamuffin is one of the smaller boats in the Southern Cross fleet. She has a very comfortable interior with a welcoming warmth and feel created by rich timber finishes. Ragamuffin will only carry up 13 guests which is dieal for those seeking a smaller group experience.
Ron of Argyll 3 day/2 night
Enjoy classic sailing aboard Ron of Argyll, a gaff rigged ketch (2 masts). Built in Scotland in 1928 she is steeped in history and romance and has carried many famous crew including King GeorgeV and Marilyn Monroe. Today, beautifully appointed in mahongany and teak, Ron of Argyl takes 12 guests on a classic Whitsunday Sailing Experience.
