50ft Gaff Rigged Ketch Classic sailing aboard Ron of Argyll which is a two masted ketch, built in Scotland in 1928 and steeped in history and romance. Ron of Argyll has had many famous crew including King George V and Marilyn Monroe.

Today beautifully maintained and appointed in mahogany and teak, Ron of Argyll takes 12 guests on a classic Whitsunday Sailing Experience.
Southern Cross Sailing Adventure
Australian Tall Ships and Southern Cross Sailing have been providing 2 to 6 day sailing tours around the Whitsunday Islands since 1985. Guests can choose from ex Maxi Racing Yachts to Tall Ships to a Deluxe Schooner. Along with the sailing, tours include time to snorkel on Coral Reefs teeming with marine life, guided island bush walks to lookouts which offer amazing photo opportunities, a visit to the world famous Whitehaven Beach. Tours are Eco Certified and along the way the crew will provide an interpretive insight into the history and makeup of this World Heritage Listed Area.
